This is the evacuation shelter in order to protect people from volcanic bombs during unexpected eruption. The shelter has a sufficient stockpile of emergency kit and food. There is emergency generator. Therefore you can stay in the shelter in the case of difficulty to evacuate. Toilet and evacuation space open for 24 house. It gives tourists information about volcanic activities and weather, in addition to provide information from video monitoring system of volcanos with large screen.
Note: It closes in winter season from late December to late April.
